As the theme of the horse from the year 2014, the Goat is part of the Australian Lunar Series II. The the first edition of the Australian Lunar Series was minted from 1996 until the year 2007. From the year 2008 the coinage of the Lunar Series II started.
The special features are the beautiful animal motifs of the Chinese lunar calendar, which change every year.
2015 is the year of the Goat. People who are born in the years of the Goat are born 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 or now 2015.
